It´s quite obvious that this concert is the result of the great work of Brady Harper in Salt Lake City. He´s very active in getting AV to play there, and for some strange reason, Salt Lake City is the place in the US for synthpop. Just think of one of the best distributers off all is located there http://www.adifferentdrum.com/. We just need to do more here, and AV will play...

I hope this is not just about the unplugged session. I really hope that AV have the intention to record the show and release a DVD and a CD from the concert. Such an occasion would be perfect for AV to release their first DVD.

Give the USA guys some credit... AV did many concerts since 1995 and how many of them were in USA? 2,3? i think they deserve it !
I also wish that they will finally do a show in Canada because the guys there are really tired from all the cancelled shows... <img src=icon_smile_sad.gif border=0 align=middle>

I wouldn't care if the video was really rough, I want to see the SLC gig on video! (If the only way to get it was on an old Beta machine, I'd get one just to watch!)Brady Harper is a great guy, and I hope things have worked out for him in the long run. I would have easily felt satisfied if the package he put together had been half again as much! We need another AV concert in America!

Good news I hope!
I think I am going to the SLC concert afterall.
Thanks to a couple of VERY good friends.
They have offered to help me out a bit to get there.
Bought me ticket and ready to go now!
*Feels so much happier today*
I FINALLY get to see Alphaville after 18 years.
Now to just get me a place to stay and a get me ticket for the bus to get there.
It is going to take me 2 days to get to SLC from bus, but it's damn worth it I say

I've already gotten 3 rolls of film.
Not all of that for Marian.
I also learned that I have 2 friends that are thinking of meeting me there
One is from California (Trent lived with him while he was there) and the other is from Hawaii.
Can't wait to see them again and it will be AWESOME at an AV concert.
What a great re-union.
By the way. These are two people I've turned into Alphavillians recently.
This will be very new to them. =)

Its such a shame that he stopped performing live... he performed several times but since the DS tour he doesnt perform anymore.
I received my video of the live concert in Moscow, 1998 (sorry guys but it has protection against recording and copying...) and he is SO COOL there !!! <img src=icon_smile_cool.gif border=0 align=middle>
Playing the synth and singing to himself...
Then he plays the intro of WISHFUL THINKING and Marian yells: "Mr. Bernhard Lloyd!!!"

Well....after a couple of weeks of phone calls..e-mails to a bunch of really close friends...I think I FINALLY got Nicka off to SLC..I will know the details tomorrow to see if it official...Lots of hard work and patience went into this....But I think it's all settled now so she WILL be going to SLC.
I would like to thank John (USA), Trisha (from Hawaii), And especially Josef (From Germany), Torstein (From Norway) and Lynn (From Canada)...You guys are WONDERFUL!!! I couldn't have done this without you!
OH!!! And I almost forgot thanks also goes to Brady Harper for corrisponding with me friends and I through all this!!

Well...I am rather pissed here...All I can say right at this moment without really swearing someone is that Nicka won't be going to SLC! Her confirmations for hotel and all came too late for her to prepare for anything...I would like to make a comment on the professionality of the people handling this event, but I will be calm here and not do that...It took about 6 people from all over the world to raise funds for this trip for her and get things in order...where a man from the U.S. (closer than half the people that sent money and made arrangements)couldn't get his shite together and give people a confirmation that things where in order in a timely fashion...Nicka was SUPPOSED to be on the way today...I can't say no more without getting really angry..So I will sign off now
