The idea of releasing one song every month

I´m not so sure if I think this is such a good thing.Well you get your song every month,but it´s not the same feeling.
It feels like that there isn´t as much work as in the "usual" albumsongs...
These songs take a month, the others many years...

But thats the whole idea of DS9 - its about the act of a moment !
It wasnt meant to be a regular album...
Just a project.
AV are still working on their 6th album...

When you release a song a month on the internet it doesn´t mean that not of lot have gone into it. To release a bunch of songs on an album though takes a lot of time on other stuff than just making the song. For instance you have to make a cover for the album and it also takes a lot of time to print the CD´s.

So what I mean is when Alphaville only release a song on their website they only have to concentrate on the song, nothing else. So when you see it that way I guess a month to make a song is a long time. But that´s just my 2 cents . . . .

Marian himself said that writing a song can take a few minutes/ a few hours/ a few days...
It all depends on the insparation...
About the music - leave it to Bernd,Rainer or even sometimes to Marian... :)
Maybe i was arong when i said that they dont really focus on the songs from DS9.
They do - but not too much! so it will have the taste of THE MOMENT. you get it <img src=icon_smile_question.gif border=0 align=middle>

I think the idea of releasing a song every month is very good. I get a special relationship to every new song. When I listen to a full new album, I seem to "forget" some songs (even if they are really great) just because there are others, more easy-listened songs. For example if "See me through" was released on an album I wouldn't have cared much, but after listening to it for one month, I began to like it. The same thing is happening now for me with the "Wonderful things" song...

I really like Dreamscapes #9 - but why not give the project a better name?
