I must say I have never heard Alphaville sound this way. The song is rough and unpolished. I must admit it´s not exactly my kind of music, but it´s interesting.

I´ll write some more tomorrow...

I had a feeling that you didnt like it...
I must admit that i was surprise at first:
i was expacting to hear a quiet song and i didnt expact to hear Marian's voice like that...
but im talking about a positive surprise because i love the song very much !
I downloaded it about 45 minutes ago and i've been listening to it since then :)
i love it better with each and every time i play it !
the lyrics are... you know <img src=icon_smile_tongue.gif border=0 align=middle> and the music is fantastic !!!!
The vocal is very interesting as Willy said and i like the way Marian used his voice on this one.
It seems like Marian is testing new stuff on DS9 and i think its great !
so far so good <img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>
my advice to everyone : listen to the song more than once and keep your mind open.

I LOOOOOOOOOOVE it! It's got an almost industrial feel. I like hard hitting music like this though. But I must say, give it a few listens, because it's different there is a lot to take in. It'll be interesting to see how many like it versus how many don't.

I personally think this is the best of all D9 songs.

Actually I was sooo suprised !!! The opening music is soooo good, and than when Marian started I looked again in my Winamp to check If I loaded the right song or was it DEVISION . I like this style, It's a very good suprise because I was sure it's gonna be like "Dance with me" in SNAAL ! you know ... pianos and motions ...
AV are trying new things, this is a good one, wayyyyyyy far from AV we know .

I must admit..when I first heard it I loved the begining, then Mr Gold started singing and I was thrown for a loop...I didn't like it at all, I said to meself "Self..this is not Mr Gold" He sounded drunk off his arse to me, and the vocals don't fit the words, I do love it now, not me fav but It's ok and I will listen to it, just not over and over like I did "Moonboy", "Moongirl" and "See Me Thru" (Still trying to get used to Mr Gold sounding hard)

The music is a strange mix of early 80´s and current synth, but it´s actually quite good.

I must admit I don´t care much for the way Marian sings though. I would love to hear this song with Marian singing the way he usually does. I hope it will be like that when it is finally released on DS9. Aren´t the versions we can download only demos?!

"MoonGirl," without a doubt! I'd also say "Upside Down" and "State of Dreams," although a rousing rendition of "C Me Thru" would be really fun!

As for TWT, at first, I didn't know what to make of it. But after a while, it really started to grow on me.
