EDIT: just read on the German forum that a guy on the radio station said this was the third single.

Interesting choice, really. I like the idea of it as a single, but the fact that it's seen some extra time over the years via Dreamscapes and CrazyShow, one would think the idea had been overdue.

yeah, strange indeed but verifies the info I heard a while back that the Universal guys absolutely loved this song...... I didn't think they would love it enough to make a single though.... oh well it could be worse I am sure....

So long as it's a good version, but I've got a feeling it'll be the CROG version or something similar. Waste of a great song.

I agree - my fav version is the dreamscapes version.... all the rest feel overproduced in my opinion!

My personal preference is the CrazyShow version, as mentioned in the recent Poll. Sure, it's lengthy, but it has one of the better bridges between verses.

I agree that it's a surprising choice for a third single. but "Carry your flag" IS a great song in any version and regardless how old it is. But still....I hope for some great extras on the single! Ideas could be a wellproduced studioversion of one of the songs that didn't make it to the album like "Around the universe" or "Sweet dreams", an unplugged and an uptempo version of "Carry your flag" and of course the single version....

Go to the bottom of the page and click the "buttom" to the Alphaville song and than "Abstimmen"...so you vote for the song...

And the song are on place nr 1 since last week....

I really hope this is not true [banghead]

A song that old canīt be a single and itīs not that good either. I hope they choose "Call me" or "Heaven on earth"
