I really don't like those MTV groups but I do enjoy good Club Mix ( house,trance ) and that's why I chose to visit Ibiza before the army .
btw - I can't listen to this music at home, only when I'm out ... Synthpop is my music.

Techno? Of course! I started out with Gabba in 94 I quess (Gabba =Hardcore Techno)
Now I've been into the German pop-Rave (like Dune, Blümchen, Scooter, Interactive, Charly lownoise & Mental theo aso.) since 96
But ATB, vengaboys aso. aren't really Techno in my eyes! <img src=icon_smile_tongue.gif border=0 align=middle> It's too Mtv wanna be <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

In Norway theirs an radio channel that sends Trance/ Techno/ Ambient/ House, around the clock.
So whenever you are in Norway tune in to MP3. ( cool name for a radio station )

BUT from 16-18 It's a Spop,New Wave hours
(DM,AV,Duran,Devision,Beborn,Camou,Apoptygma and more ... I think all of them ... )

I find techno pretty good, even if most of our dys techno-songs sound too much like each other...but if I don't have 80's music I listen to techno, after all, techo is kind of an "incarnation" of 80's music, they use similar equipment and souns as back then...and the beat...I could dance to it for hours, in the pulsing strobe light among all those other wackos on the dancefloor dancing our asses off!!...

Asking "do you like techno?" is like asking "do you like people?". Some I like, some I just can't stand. I like the Prodigy, some goa and ambient stuff but Scooter and the other five thousand acts that sound like them are not exactly my favourites.

There was many good europop/techno croups in the middle of 90s. Like Scooter, Magic Affair, La Bouche, Melodie Mc, Ice Mc... I think all artists today are too commercial!
They all sound the same, E-type, you can almost predict how the next song is going to sound like. Modern Talking, good once, but today they are just one of the discobands that exists.

Yes, that´s the good thing about dance/trance/techno whatever! You can dance to it! The songs often have strong beats and a cool rhytm! Perfect for the dancefloor!

More than "funny", bit scary my dream came true or that your truth became my dream,
well maybe no coincidence since we met in the dreamroom. hope you didn't get arrested for the reason i dreamed (that would be really scary) but after that you turned your AV/AP/ or techno to loud (to make it subject matter) or something that is worth the price but nothing that is a threath to your personality,that tries to limit YOU.(you know what i mean; for playing AV/AP really always at night to long to loud, okay than the nabours can't get never a good sleep, (altough...) but it would be a real alarming story when you get arrested because of the AV/AP lyrics about peace and freedom and stuff like that...
