First of all i would like to say that meeting AV is the best thing that ever happend to me ! meeting them and seeing them LIVE of course :-)
i met the live band on a very cold and rainy night at a club in Tel-Aviv, Israel.
Marian didnt like that place so he wasnt there...
anyway, it was a very short meeting (after almost 3 hours of waiting in the cold...) but the real event took place on the night after.
i met Marian and the band backstage after the concert.
first i saw Martin, Rob and Shane and you know - "bla bla bla, it was cool, great concert, bla bla bla...." :-)
then i saw KP and you know - "bla bla bla, can I see Marian? oh yeah? really? thank you thank you thank you !!!, bla bla bla..."
then i got into a small room with a few more Utopians and we sat with Marian.
he was signing on some things and talking to people.... after a while we talked about the concert, how much he likes Israel, how much i LOVE alphaville, bla bla bla...
you know, there is something very relaxing in Marian. I was sure that i would faint or wont be able to stop smiling/crying
but as soon as i sat next to him i felt so good and relaxed... it was amaizing !!!!
ite been alsmot a year now and i really miss him, the band and the feeling of a live concert.
maybe ill get lucky and he will come to Hamburg. maybe he wont. in any case - i have my memories and my photos and no one can take it from me !
well, maybe the aliens can... :-)
