They're not synthpop, or really rock for that matter, but they have great, funny lyrics, and put together really good tunes.

Nobody has ever heard of these guys either.
I especially like songs like "baby's got the car keys" and "The last day of Pompeii". They kind of get into the folksy, country stuff, but their lyrics are not even close.

yes, my children have one of their tapes, and "baby's got the car keys" is right up there with their favorites. i personally like the reworking of nursery rhymes one..is it "throw it out the window?"
