yeah, I have a maxisingle and some tracks on compilations. At first they sound good, really synthpop, but it gets tiring after a while. They are very much inspired by Erasure and Depeche Mode, and doesn´t seem to have their own style - a little un-original for my taste.

The singer in EM is Robert Enforsen

I think EM are (or were) the best of the new synthpop groups from the 90:s.

For those of you who have not heard them, they sound like a mixture between Erasure and Depeche Mode. On their first CD, "Degraded faces", they are closer to DM. On their second CD, "Shattered grounds", they are somewhere in between, and on their third CD, "Yesterday men", they are closer to Erasure.
They also made a complation with 12 tracks, including 2 new songs and 4 B-sides. The rest were remixes of some of their old songs (not the best). So I recommend the 3 original albums!

Their best songs are "Shattered grounds" (from the CD with the same name) and "Save me" (from Yesterday men).

Well Robert enforsen is now working on his album and project.
Enforce "forward".it will soon be released,and i'm sure it will please a lot of synth pop fans like me,in case you can try the new SPOCK album "Spock 2001: a spock odyssey"...

I have some friends that where at the Arvika-Festivalen and meet one from the band and hade a party together. They have meet before and at Arvika they spoke about a koncert agein in Nybro....just for fun.
In Nybro here in Sweden there is a synth-club that hade some meetings. At the meetings people come from Stockholm to just to join for one day.

Back to EM....this guy that my friend knows, said that he will try to get the band together for a show. But one from the members are hard to get to join for a show agein.

But I hope!!!

I really like EM. Maybe they don´t sound very original. But it´s really SWEET music. My EM-fave are absoulutely "Save Me". I really love all three af their original albums. One thing is certain:
Best swedish synth ever!! (my oppinion)

Well I downloaded the whole album Degraded faces a couple of days ago, and the only song that was good was Process!

Well, their first is in my oppinion their least good one. Try listen to, "Shattered grounds", the first four tracks is really nice! On "Yesterday Men" you have "Save Me" as track #2, the best song they´ve done according to me...
But if you don´t like it... smaken är som baken... :)
