Which features don't we need for the new version of The Dreamroom (multiple choice) ?

As I'm planning a change of forum code sometime in 2010, I ask that you vote for which features we currently have that we DON'T need for the new version, as we can't have it all (at least not to begin with), so please vote, thanks [smile2]

I voted "social groups". Since there is no way to know there is activity in there, nobody uses them.

I was going to vote "portal" too, but the forum without an "introduction" might look "stripped". [smile2]

I think also that Social Groups can be dropped, it's a nice idea, but I prefer to keep everything in the forum itself.

I agree about Social Groups, it worked well at first but is (as far as I can tell), hardly used any more.

I was expecting a reverse poll, i.e what features to add for the new portal.
Here are my suggestions :
- the ability to embed main video sources, not only youtube ones.
- a better Chat interface.
- a clearer logic for AV news (currently dispersed into multiple threads).

I voted "social groups" of the same reason that Malila already posted: As long as you can't see if something happens in there, it has nearly no practical use (although a nice feature in theory).

Right now the friendships and profile comments seem pretty useles, (since there are private messages, and really should remain), but if they are going to be better, then I think that's a good idea.
