View Full Version : Should our forum member Sappy make an Alphaville Megamix ?

Howdy people,

I'm planning to do a megamix with selected Alphaville tracks/remixes and it should be for the fans on this site in the first place!

There are some thoughts/questions about this I'll share with you:
1) What do you think about it?
2) What would the band think about this fan megamix (I won't do it if it's a bad idea)?
3) I don't have many tracks/remixes.....would you be able to mail me some tracks in good quality for the megamix?

I don't know the bandmembers, but if someone would do a megamix from my songs I would be honoured.

I myself think it as a fun idea, since I have never heard an Alphaville megamix. Their music isn't most megamixable, but it would be fun to see what you could do.

I think it's a nice idea. And i think the best thing is making remix bulit on synth tracks like, IN THE MOOD, SOUNDS LIKE A MELODY, NEXT GENERATION, HERE BY YOUR SIDE, INTO THE DARK, ELEVATOR, A VICTORY OF LOVE, FALLEN ANGEL, LEBEN OHNE ENDE, BLAUER ENGEL etc....

Thank you very much, makes me happy when I do get comments on my work. I'ts difficult to make a remix when you have only the original versions and no acapellas (clean vocals).....and you have to be very carefull when the original song is so good!!

I do understand your question [wink] I've got many plans when it comes to music but not enough time, so I gently pick out some stuff now and then to do....I think the fans in here seems so be really great in their way of being fans, so I thought it could be fun for some to have a listen to their fave AV tracks collected in a megamix...I'm not planning to do this for my own amuse only, but I really like Av and I can do it, so thats why.....if only few wants a megamix, I don't wanna do it, simple as that!![smile]

btw the megamix will be (if there wil be) made mostly as a beatmix and not filled up with loads of specials effects and so....I'll make it with the deepest respect to the music [smile]

Another Poll ?! hehehe.....anyway, I will try to come around all the biggest songs and for sure some of 'the others'. Not all tracks are made so they can be mixed into eachother easily.

I know of one Alphaville Megamix already that was pretty good but I would love to hear what Sappy can do with a Megamix........ I say go for it!

I voted no because I don't really like mixing different AV songs together. They all have a spirit of their own, with both the beginning and the end of a song defining how a song ends up. By mixing them together, that special feeling is lost.

That's a good point Avil, but this megamix were ment to be a bonus and some extra to use, not a replacement of any original songs, they will live forever!
