Remastered cd singles...

One day isent a suggestion to Moon Base,and my request was: Why not compiling the old stuff from 85 to the early nineties in some nice cd singles box-sets.
as for example the erasure,or the Dm boxes...
It could be nice to have all the remixes and extended version from the golden ages,remastered,and in a nice package.

Great idea. It would be very nice to have all the old remixes on CD instead of the vinyl ones which are getting "tired"!

Wow, how did I miss this thread? I soo agree. Why? Oh cause I happened to have missed out on most of the AV singes and now if I want to get them it'll cost me about $20-30 each since I'd have to buy them off of ebay. (not to mention the Marian Gold singles that go for $55 canadian ALONE urgh)

Now let's see...if you add up all the thigs we'd like to see from Alphaville...that's enough to keep tjem busy for about 8 years..heh:

remastered CD singles
Video compilation
DVD's
side projects
merchandise (like t-shirts, stickers, mouspads, toiletpaper..alright maybe not the last suggestion...heh)

I would kill for a AV singles cd-box! That would be the ultimate. And I think it would be very popular, not only amongst AV fans.

I've been dreaming about that for years.

It could happen you know. I remember years ago, Willy and I was joking, that AV should release a box, with remixes and demo versions. And they did: Dreamscapes! So...

The problem is that Alphaville
have to mess with WEA.
WEA still "own" the songs <img src=icon_smile_sad.gif border=0 align=middle>
The only single from that era is the
very rare "FY promo CD"... totally impossible to get!

There's really no way to listen to classic stuff on vinyls,it becomes boring...
