To be honest.....I think Alphaville have sold most records as they have released a lot more different albums and singles than Yazoo. AV have also had the biggest hit (Big in Japan) and the Forever young album has sold more than both Yazoo albums. I don't have the exact numbers to back it up but I'm pretty certain anyway....

Really? I think that Yazoo has had bigger hits over the world than Alphaville has. Remember, AV never really hit in the UK or US, Yazoo did it all over the world.

I think it depends largely on what part of the country, as far as the US is concerned.

The way I see it, while neither got much recognition in the Seattle area, a station in Los Angeles probably had more requests for it. I remember hearing "BiJ" when it was new, but "FY" didn't get played anywhere near as much. And I don't recall a station playing any Yaz at all.

Like I said in a previous post, these people don't know what they've been missing. Thank heavens for XM Radio! (Fred on 44 is the alternative station that plays both and a lot more!)
