This German based band I myself can´t quite understand why I like. Their songs are very alike, there´s just something about them.
Listen to:
Lady in black
You´re a woman
Pretty young girl
(I prefer the long versions)

Hey now your talking about very, very, very good band Their songs are so great!!! I love them all. This trio recorded many hits which mostly have been written by duo of Tony Hendrik (music) and Karin van Haaren (vel Hartman) (lyrics). This duo was responsible for such BBB's hits like "I Wanna Hear Your Heartbeat", "A World Without You", "Don't Walk Away Suzanne", "Till The End of Time" followed by the later "Queen of Heart, "House of Silence", "How I Need You" etc. FANTASTIC songs.

Great to hear Wonder! I was beginning to think I was the only one here at the forum who likes BBB!

It´s strange that I like them so much though. I always disliked bands who made very similar songs and you have to say that the songs of BBB are very much alike. There´s just something about them. I like their oldest stuff best though. Their newest stuff isn´t that good in my eyes.

Yep you`re right, new stuff...hym. remixes, new hit collections with 2000 remixes And yes, songs are very similar but there`s that "hook" inside their melodies... I`ve got many albums of their early years, and album called "the fifth" I love that. There`s "I`m not a fool", "Show me the way", "Where are you now", "Lady In Black" etc. Have you heard that album? I really recommend that to you

OK - I can see that I exaggerated a bit when I said I have 15 12" singles, but these are the one´s I´ve got:

Come back and stay
Gimme gimme your lovin´ >Little lady<
Hungry for love
I wanna hear your heartbeat
Kisses and tears
Lady in black
Love really hurts without you
Lovers in the sand
Pretty young girl
You´re a woman (w. red frame on cover)
You're a woman

and CD singles:
The Turbo Megamix
The Turbo Megamix vol. 2

Yes Totally is a great CD. That, BBBest and More BBBest are my favourites. But my favourite songs are the 12" versions of "Pretty young girl", "Lady in black" and "You´re a woman"!!

For some strange reason I also like their songs.

In the beginning (85-88?) they were a Modern Talking copycat group, or at least their singles sounded so (some of the other songs on the albums sounded not so, and was not so good). Examples of these are: You´re a woman, I wanna hear your heartbeat, Kisses and tears, Gimme gimme gimme your lovin´.
After three records they switched their main singer and after that they found a style more of their own, although many of their songs sounded very alike each other. Examples of these are: Come back and stay, A world without you (Michelle), Lady in black, A train to Nowhere.

In 94 they changed style again, mainly because they changed writers to the songs. Now it became more techno-influented but still melodic and nice. The CD "To blue horizons" from 94 is probably their best.

Their latest album (from 2000?) is though quite boring.

Their top 10 songs should be:
Lady in black, Heart at midnight, Jungle in my heart, A world without you, Lovers in the sand, One more kiss, I wanna hear your heartbeat, Blue moon, Come back and stay and Don´t walk away Suzanne.

Their top 3 albums must be:
To blue horizons, The 5th and Game of love

Trevor Taylor was a good singer, but I think that John are actually a bit better. Copycat group?? Maybe, but I say that them are 10 times better than MT.
