Atlantic Popes news from Bernhard Lloyd

Well, Mike and I had a great long weekend in Berlin, just came home today. We have to say this: The best kebab in the world is in Berlin [tonque] Unfortunately our body don´t feel the same, but that´s another story.

We went to visit Bernhard in his home and studio in the East part of Berlin, that was fun, Bernd had some great stories for us about the past, but also some news:

Bernhard and Max have started working on the 2nd Atlantic Popes album - and we heard some samples from it, sounds GREAT ! Lots of synths of course, and that special Bernd touch to the music, that takes care of the details, we loved it !

Yes, we heard the Moonboy remix - wonderful, much better than the original, has the synth AV sound the original lacks.

Bernd says it will take 1 year to complete the album, so hopefully AV release will be first. He did laugh at our "alphaville-time" about AV time schedule [wink]

Hahah... of course I was! I think I had one too many Donner, Currywurst, etc, but should be back to normal in a day or two..... Its nice to come from CPH, but the BOS-FRA leg in Lufthansa coach might be illegal in some places, though better than any US carrier.... It was quite the experience (Willy, get off the bus....), but I wouldn't have missed it for the world.

Its 2230 US EST time, so I'm talking crazy... more pics to come!

I told my wife someone actually owns and uses more macs than me... she said she didnt' believe it!

I looked at the first photo of Bernhard's studio and I'm less than optimistic regarding the new AP album. First of all it's going to be booooring (look at the RebBull on a desk). Let's go even further - this album will be totally crappy. I mean CRAPPY. So crappy that Bernhard has to keep a toilet paper in his eyesight (look at the keyboard's right side).
