Hmm, interesting votings so far.
Prostitute is my favourite album after TBB and I could have named various songs. However, I decided
for Ain't It Strange. Other faves are The One Thing, Paradigm Shift, Some People or Euphoria.
I don't really like The Impossible Dream, Oh Patti and Parade. Apollo has burnt out.

I never liked Iron John, don´t ask me why, it´s one of the few songs on the album I really don´t like.
The start of the song is so unique and special. That´s why it has become my song..

It was hard to vote for one only. I have at least three favourites (The One Thing, Impossible Dream, Iron John); except for Parade, I love the whole album.

It would be easier for me to vote if the polls were about the song I don't like from. [smile2]

I understood in Tipi that Impossible Dream was a huge favourite among the fans. So it is not surprising it will be the winner of this poll

I had to think for a while before I answered this one, but finally I made up my mind: The impossible dream. The song is just breathtaking. But even though I love it, I didn't think so many other would vote for it. I would have thought Apollo, Iron John or Ivory Tower.

And Fools. It's a stupid song. I didn't like it the first time I heard it. I still doesn't like it. The same goes for Beethoven. Paradigm shift is a fantastic song aswell. And The one thing too. The whole album is fantastic with a couple of exceptions. Hehe.

The funky and jazzy "Ain't It Strange" is my fave, but this time it was really hard to choose! Btw, I also love the intense "Parade", so sad that no one voted for this one.
For me Prostitute is the best of all AV albums because of the wide variety of diffrent styles. [thumbup]

hello , my favourite song is " Impossible Dream", but like me other songs , "ivory tower" ,"All in the golden afternoon", "The paradigm shift" and " Some People" or "Euphoria", for example. All are fantastics and classics in the discography of the band.

I just discovered this thread (I also only discovered the Prostitute album last year). Its almost impossible to choose a favorite song from this incredible album, with songs like Fools, Ascension Day, Impossible Dream, Ivory Tower, Iron John and Apollo.

I ultimately chose Fools. Although it seems very 'pop', it has a political message and even quotes the Book of Revelations (including the angel the bible refers to as 'the faithful and true'). Love to listen to it at volume 11 in my car!

I voted Apollo but I like Impossible Dream too. Apollo has a bit of a Depeche Mode 'Just Can't Get Enough' beat thing going on in the background on the verses which makes it catchy.

They're two different songs: one from Prostitute and the other from DS6... I guess different composers must be because music is not exactly the same in both songs. [?]
