I have just downloaded the fourth song from Dreamscapes 9, See Me Through (Demo Version). I think it's really cool that Alphaville (and Atlantic Popes) uses flash to introduce their new stuff. The song is much diffrent from the first three and I think it's really good because I was a bit afraid that all songs would sound the same. I love it! Thanks Alphaville!

I´m listening to it right now for the first time - I´m not crazy about it, a little to "messy" for my taste, and I really hate when the voice is digitized, specially when Marian has such a great voice.

I´ll give it a chance anyway...

well.... if you listen to the single version (promo) which can be found in the download section at www.alphaville.de you'll find out that they already used it before cher ;)

I agree with you, Willy. Let´s not hope it´s the new "style" of Alphaville.

Marian has such a great voice!!! Why ruin it??

Thinking of all the different forms that AV has used musically, I don't think they have ever stuck on a certain "style" of music, nor do I think they ever will, they have never been mainstream and well... monotonous..this song is also being discussed in the lyrics section of this forum..if you want to look at those comments

It´s alright that Marian and Alphaville plays with the singing and the music. In fact the different "types" of music is one of the things that makes AV so special.
What I mean when I say that I don´t hope that the digitized singing is going to be a new "style" of Alphaville is that I would be very dissapointed if the next Alphaville album contained several songs with Marian´s voice digitized. That would be such a shame.

And when I talk about "style" I think that each AV album has had it´s own "style" with about half of the songs being similar. That´s just my opinion. Don´t flame me, we are all Alphaville fans.

Alphaville are the best!!!!

I too thought it strange the digitization of the voice like Cher and Kid Rock. In fact ever since hearing See Me Through I've had that darn Kid Rock song stuck in my head!
Hopefully AV will change those associations for me.

The future exists, first in Imagination, then in Will, then in Reality.

I like the song....it is a new sound of AV.
But i don't like to here a album with only songs that sounds like that....*weee*

By the way...the name of the song?
Is it SEE ME THRU or SEE ME THROUGH??
When u download the song it is SEE ME THRU and if u look on the lyrics at Moonbase it says SEE ME THROUGH.
What is the name????
