Well, I love it, as I was saying somewhere in this forum earlier, Alphaville has never had one song like the other and that's what makes them the best and brilliant, nothing sounds like the other and that makes this adventure and journey with them so fantastic!!!! I have brain and lobe candy listening to them, Even the worst AV songs are brilliant compositions of music, Take a second listen to the whole song the words, drums, that funky sounds in the background, it's actually really brilliant

true, i fell in love with AV because of their old music and I will always prefer their old style (BIJ, FY...) but im also open for new stuff.
by the way, this song is not very different from the SALVATION style and it was a fantastic album !

I think that the voice mixing isn't good and
a song with such lyrics and beats would be
great with Marian voice which is at it's
best when it's natural .
I talked to a man ( in a chat room ) who
calls himself a DM &quot;fan&quot;, he told me :
&quot;I hate Ultra, it's not a Synthpop anymore&quot;.
He is not an open minded person, he cannot
accept changes, walk with the band all the
way . When you listen to the album few times
it's strange in the begining, but later you understand that it's a work of art .
It made me understand that I wasn't

The lyrics are good but I think (like someone said before) that the music is quite messy and in my opinion - the messy music makes the good lyrics seem bad.

But I think the LYRICS could be quite important for the AV-history. As you all know, it started with 'Lies'. Another song was 'Ivory Tower'. And now 'C Me Thru'. Just read the lines:

Huh? When the music fades away? The next song or what? I also found there are two strange passages that are not mentioned in the lyrics I couldn't understand. I didn't get the opportunity to play the song backwards, perhaps another hidden message? Please help me, I'm overloaded here!

I have my own ideas about the lyric for this song, but it's probably not right. Suffice it to say that I see it being related to Alphaville as it is now without Bernhard, in comparison to Alphaville as it used to be...

I would also say the same about 'Ship Of Fools' - but that's my own interpretation.

I agree concerning "Ship Of Fools". I see C Me Thru as a turning away from the superficial spirit of
the age. The music fits by using that sensational elements like Autotune-Voice-Effects (Cher-Effect).
All in all it´s a bit satirical to me and it took me a while to like it.
