View Full Version : Alphaville and politics!
I wonder if theres some connect with Alphaville and politics.
If AV-listeners is more or less 'social' or 'conservative'.
I'm more social than conservative.
Musicstyles have often a kind of political charges so maybe AV.
So do we AV listeners care about politics?
I do.

I care about politics too. I think that there are a lot of politics in Alphaville's lyrics. Especially Prostitute. Also I remember talking to Ricky Echolette a few years back. He defently cares about politics.

there definitely seem to be social issues as well as political issues in their music. you might think that av would want their listeners to be able to think and talk about these issues, which is why i am glad for this forum. on the list we'd just get blasted for being off topic. why run a chat list if you dont want people to chat?? although i dont think av has stood for anything too controversial, at least in my mind. environmental and peaceful things seem to be pretty apparently good things to support. i could be wrong. does anyone think av has anything politically controversial? i guess i dont think of denouncing neonazis as a controversial thing, (supporting them would be!)but i can see how for others it might be.
