i dont really get how marian can write so special lyrics to his songs..where does he get everything from??
ok,i am not cristian and i hate all talk about jesus and stuff,but anyway i can listen to Alphaville all day long.i wonder why??

I think also that the religious symbolism found in AV's work touches more on both the collective consciousness and collective unconsciousness than on the actual religion. To me the meaning goes deeper and is more spiritual than "religion" which often seems to me to be sorely lacking in spirituality. But the symbolism in religions is often rich and meaningful, if only understood correctly. And that which is misunderstood but is generally known, well, that makes for interesting imagery and musical commentary on society as well. um did that make any sense? walking out into the dark...:)
