Marian says that if you had released FY today it would have been a hit, but if you had released Big in Japan,it wouldn´t be so big as it became in the 80´s.
Do you think he´s right?

Yes I do. "Forever young" is "timeless" whereas "Big in Japan" is a more typical 80´s hit.

Yes, that's right....FY can be a hit every time......like Poul E "timeless".....but BIJ just under the 80's.

Yes, maybe. But how should BIJ have sounded if it was produced 2000? Not like in -84 for sure.

I think that BIJ could have been a hit today too...But not in the original version...
Maybe the version from 1992...

I think "Forever young" could be a hit no matter if it was released in "Unplugged", "Special Extended Mix" or "Original version". I don´t think "BIJ" could be a hit in either of the versions already released. It would have to be a "2000 remix" of some kind, and then it still isn´t a certain hit.

I think so too, and I don´t like the 1992 version much either, but it could very well become a hit in a new version. But us &quot;long time fans&quot; would probably not like it?!

i can listen to all the 67567380 versions of BIJ for hours but i will always prefer the original one :)

I was in Gävle yesterday, and in the
shoppingcentra &quot;Radio Rix&quot; were tuned...
Guess what... they were playing
Big In Japan... alright!
Pay! then I sleep by your side

Sometimes it's very nice to shopping :)

I like the 92' AD version.
Its not bad and the video clip is really cool !!! <img src=icon_smile_cool.gif border=0 align=middle>

this thing about BIJ still in radio..i hear it almost every day.and on saturday eve this great station mixmegapol ahs 80's non stop in 4h!!and i just turn up the volume utill the bass is pumping the roof of our house.of course im close to get killed by my parents at that piont but..what goes up to Alphaville??

i always feel great afterwards,feels like the crueal reality is gone..im in the 80's and the members of AV is forever young..

wow..thanx.nowadays i dont listen too much to usual radio..only at the 80's mix on saturday night to have a great time..but actually im only*dancing with myse-elf*
